During the 2026 edition of Fumetto Comic Festival my work 'The Dogs are Waiting' has been exhibited in the entrance hall of Luzerner Kantonsspital.

The exhibited texts, illustrations and animations are loosely based on photographies of waiting dogs that I've been taking and collecting over the past few years and explore thoughts, questions and answers on the topic of waiting in general.

The work on display was at the stage of what I would call a ‘visual essay’ and is now being developed further; my aim is to produce a final product in the form of a fanzine or a small book.
The catalogue of the waiting dogs is organised in different categories such as 'puppies', 'in company', 'alone and leashed' etc. and shows illustrations based on the photos, labelled with the date and time when the picture was taken.
The PHOTOS are the base of the whole project - I take a picture every time I see a dog waiting somewhere. A selection from a total of roughly 400 photos was printed and labelled with a corresponding waiting slip.
THE THREE LOOPING ANIMATIONS were shown in the revolving door at the entrance and each depict different states of waiting, which are embodied by a dog character.
Three LARGE ink drawings formed a sort of trIPtYCH and depicted a 'patron saint' of those who wait, as well as questions and theories around the topic of waiting.
