During the 2026 edition of Fumetto Comic Festival my work 'The Dogs are Waiting' has been exhibited in the entrance hall of Luzerner Kantonsspital.
The exhibited texts, illustrations and animations are loosely based on photographies of waiting dogs that I've been taking and collecting over the past few years and and explore thoughts, questions and answers on the topic of waiting in general.
The catalogue of the waiting dogs is organised in different categories such as 'puppies', 'in company', 'alone and leashed' etc. and shows illustrations based on the photos, labelled with the date and time when the picture was taken.
The PHOTOS are the base of the whole project - I take a picture every time I see a dog waiting somewhere. A selection of photos was printed and labelled with the corresponding waiting slip.
THE THREE LOOPING ANIMATIONS symbolise different feelings of waiting represented by a dog character.
